Looks like a cool toy... Your best best is hooking it up serially. Form a casual look at the data sheet it appears to be SPI.  They also appear to have a driver for it. 
 
Another option is to hook it up to GPIOs and bit bang the interface.
 
You definitely do not want to use the built in LCD controller of the ARM chip for this.
