Do you have a particular model?
I would prefer the video capture model since the video does not need to be from a camera. But for testing, I would start with anything that is proved to work.

Thanks,

Hi All,
I have couple questions about the V4L2 driver and mplayer application:
  1. Has anyone use mplayer to play a USB video capture device? I have a one that use em28xx chipset and it recognized by the Linux OK on my Orero.
  2. When I play the video stream, mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:device=/dev/video0:input=1 -vo null , (no output, just test capture) it started OK. But after about 2000 frames or so, I got this error message: v4l2: select timeout
Any suggestion for what device(s) that work well with Overo board?

Thanks,
