Hi Mark,

No problems, thanks for following up on this.  And have a good trip!

I won't be able to get a shot for at least a week; I'm about to be out of the office (and at the moment, my Qtopia build is broken).

Incidently, I did not use Qtopia from inside buildroot; when I enabled that to try it, it fails to build. Instead, I've downloaded it from trolltech and configured/built/installed it manually.

I have noticed one weird thing about the display. The (0,0) position is to the left of the top corner a bit (off screen), and on the right edge, anything shown there appears badly. I'll try to post a photo showing what I mean when I can but in the mean time… anyone have thoughts regarding this? (Note, this problem is not related to Qtopia; the same thing happens when I just dump a ppm image to the framebuffer using Holly's tool.)

Subject: Re: [Gumstix-users] ACX705AKM display connection --- Bleed Fixed!

Hi Jozsef,

I remember reading some specs somewhere that lead me to believe you can expect about 5 fps from the screen itself.  I am not sure how quickly the Verdex will be able to fill and purge its own frame buffer.

Mark, any chances of pics of the brand new, bleedless screen? :)

Best regards,

Hi,
I'm using this display and the verdex for a simple process monitoring-like application. I get the picture from an USB webcam and display it on the ACX705AKM, with Verdex XM4. What do you think how many fps should i expect from this configuration ?
