hello

i assigned an ip address to the gumstix with the serial console.

and then i tried the cygwin with the command ssh root@my-ip

the msg said connect to host my-ip port 22 : connection refused

my windows firewall is disabled.

wat could i do to establish the connection to gumstix with ssh

i had followed this link, and towards the end when we enter ssh localhost it ends in a prompt whic is like username@localhost's password:

as such theres no password to my computer and neither did the gumstix work as password not gumstix in quotes.

could anyone tell me wat is the password.

You need to install ssh using the cygwin installer.
