Well, without knowing what you have done so far or what the state of your build tree is, I would suggest that you move your user.collection directory somwhere away from teh build tree and do a clean build. This is soemthing that should just work.  The problem could be anywhere along the way, or, it could be something as simple as a file that got corrupted when it got put into the mmc card.

But yes, it looks like your driver is just not  a happy driver.  The other place I would try is going to the nabble web site and doing searches through this mailing list for some of the error messages you are getting and seeing if other folks have run into this and what the solution was, if any.

Other than that , the only peice of advice I can offer is.. and you won't like hearing it.. "Start over". Unless someone has a better idea!!  I've had to start over a few times myself. I don't enjoy teh day or two of building that I go through when I have to do that.

On the other hand, you might be able to just do a bitbake -c clean whatever-the-linux-image-is and then rebuilding just the kernel image.  The other possibility is if there is a recipe that just produces the rootfs, you can try rebuilding that and see if maybe that fixes things for you.

And it hangs, I guess you are right the driver isn't build properly, any ideas where to look?

Well, it looks like it is getting to the point where it's trying to load the
smsc911 driver module and trying to run the init portion of it, and then it
blows up. Badly.

Where did you get the driver? Did you download it? or did you build it
yourself?
Cuz it sure looks like that driver.ko file is somehow corrupted or built for
teh wrong processor.
