I have the same issue.

If you edit the ...../org.openembedded.dev/recipes/docbook-utils/dockbook....bb

and change the 3.1 for 4.5 for docbook you will be able to compile.

it is a quick fix...  I don't know if the software will work, but at least, the compilation is OK.

I'm building on Mint 11 (ubuntu 10.10) 64bit on an Intel Core i7, I can
confirm this issue still exists with bitbake 1.12.0.
