Hi.  I am doing some Bootloader/custom OS development for the gumstix.  I need to JTAG it  (not debug it – just shove stuff into flash).  I have the Intel JFLASHMM tool and a .dat configuration file for it.  However, I’m stymied as to where to solder/attach leads for the JTAG pins.  I have a GUMSTIX #11 (which I think is the new one without the JTAG lines coming out to the 60-pin Hirose).

On the web (somewhere), I found the following reference:

TDO       TP1

TDI         TP2

TCK        TP3

TMS       TP4

VCC        TP6

GND      TP7

This doesn’t seem to work.  It’s probably for some other board. I’m using an Insight UC-1 JTAG cable. Looking at the basix board I can’t see where else the pads for the JTAG terminals would be.

I don’t just want the unit reflashed with Linux/whatever – I want to be able to replace the flash contents many times as I debug things with the software I’m writing.

Anyone here know where the pads are or what I’m doing wrong?
