I’ve just received a Palo43 as part of a larger order, and it seems like I’ve got a power issue somewhere. The same Overo (water) powers up fine on a Summit board.

I’ve placed a meter across pins 1 and 2 on the 40 pin header of both daughter boards (with CPU removed). On the Summit I can measure a good 3.3 volts, but on the Palo I can only see something on the order of mv. Additionally, if the Palo is left powered on for a little while, the board gets quite hot. The heat seems to be centered around the “6R8” part.

Should I have my technician replace something, or should I send the board back?

Thanks…

Mark
