Hello,

I have an Overo Fire connected to a Tobi. I'm booting from an SD card using
the desktop image in

200912152117 . When I connect a network cable to the Tobi's LAN port,
nothing happens. I can't get a connection from the Overo, and my router
doesn't see it. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

Is your router set to do dhcp ?

Here just plug in overo(+ tobi) boot and it grabs an address from dhcp.

Otherwise you'll have to set a static address.

ifdown eth0
ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.5
ifup eth0

or modify /etc/network/interfaces

iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1
