I use several of them with my Robostix using a bit bang interface but the timing has to be pretty good. I'd imagine you could do it with GPIO and a kernel driver. I use mine with a 4.7k pullup to +5v and have them running with parasite power so only thing needed is signal and ground.

There's some good info on Linuxy one wire stuff at http://owfs.sourceforge.net/ and a list of useful one wire adapters at http://owfs.sourceforge.net/adapters.html including a simple circuit for a supported bit banging interface.

Hi All,

Could someone help me with DS18S20 temperature sensor and audiostix
board? I would need to interface them but I'm not sure how. If someone
has an experience interfacing DS18S20 or any other sensor, please
share it. Any advice or the example would be useful.

Thanks,
Mindas
