I was playing with my tivo the other day and noticed that they mount their root file system as
read only. Does it make sense to do this in a gumstix? I am making a sensor that will be
running for many weeks and then suddenly have the power yanked. I am worried about bad
code trashing the directory or the power off event doing it. I think that jffs2 will take care of
the power off event, but I am not aware of any actions I need to do to protect myself from
bad code (I know, don't write any! :-)
So can a gumstix file system be mounted RO?
