Try to disable all non essential bluetooth services started in
the init scripts. Be sure to disable them by commenting out
the sections as the variables intended for this purpose do
not work.

Also, be sure to force bt disconnects before you halt.  I created
a shutdown script to close connections.  This was the only way
I could halt and get a new lease the next time.

Hi,

I suppose the gumstix will not be resetted in a correct manor.

At the moment I use a pc with the widcomm bluetooth protocoll stack
and the Apple Rendezvous sw.
There are cases where the bnep0 device does not get a valid ip address.
Rebooting doesn't help in all cases. One out of 5 reboot commands results
in a valid ip lease... sometimes the bnep0 device disapears completely.
In case of the later, the pc doesn't see anything.

Issueing a second and consecutive reboot comands causes garbage to be
displayed when going down.

Once a while I an error about a stalled bluetooth connection and quite a lot
of timeout errors.
