I have successfully built boh cacoa and jamvm using the instructions 
at  http://wiki.openembedded.net/index.php/Java for the overo board if that is of any help

I'm just trying to bitbake jamvm and have run into this  problem.
Therefore I assume that it's still in OE or does anybody know the status
of this problem with building classpath recipe?

I assume that this edit fixes the problem but thought I'd ask if anybody
knew of an update.
