Sagar,

I tried to install xapt, it does not find the libxml2-dev library

So I will try the native compilation.

Thank you

Kris

in general,

./configure --host=arm-linux-gnueabi

I see from some old notes that I once cross-compiled libxml2 with

CC=arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc ./configure --host=arm-linux-gnueabi

which is pretty much the same thing.

But once again, I must point out to you the advantages of using debian
multiarch and xapt. It _will_ save you a lot of time.

https://wiki.debian.org/EmdebianToolchain#Get_all_the_libraries_you_need

If you follow that guide, all you need to do is

xapt -a armel -m libxml2-dev

Regards,
Sagar
