I have to do "mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/cf" to get mine to mount,
even if there is an entry in fstab.
The above trick now mounts my 2GB flash on the default buildroot of my
gumstix. I have noticed though that the filesystem is filename case insensitive
and I am concerned about how you can install a native toolchain on a case
insensitive file system.
My questions at this point are:
"What file systems can be written to a CF and mounted with a gumstix?"
"Can I format a CF using ubuntu to a ext2 filesystem and mount it on
Is there a written procedure for generating a native toolchain and placing
it on a CF so it can be used subsequently on the gumstix?"
