Hi,

I'm wondering when MPC will be adapted for Vista?
Now each time i start playing it will change the color scheme and also i can not play 2 movies at the same time.
The second movie only will play the sound in Vista.

Thanks for this great player.
Cheers

There is nothing wrong with MPC when using it with Vista.

Your problem lies with you using the 'Overlay Mixer' to produce your video. The overlay mixer is not compatable with Vista's Aero theme due to the way that the graphics are produced, hence any application that uses the overlay mixer will produce the same results e.g TV Card.

For the best results in Vista, change the rendering method to one of the VMR renders, preferably 'VMR9 (Renderless)' but be aware that if you fullscreen video with subtitles then you will need to either disable 'DirectVobSub' or the built in subtitle function of MPC or you will get 2 sets out of sync.

Doing this will also solve your problem of not being able to display 2 videos at once.
