Many xvid files load OK but are playing back very jerky
and pixelated... Do I need to re-load some video codecs
or something..? This seems to start happening only a
few months ago when I upgraded MPC to 6486.

MPC don't have internal xvid decoder filter. What filters
are loaded if you play back these "jerky" video files?
    - Have you enabled post processing in xvid's decoder settings?
    - Maybe you can try to use a different resizer method, like
bilinear or bicubic if you are useing nearest neighbour.
    - Or you can try to use a pixel shader if you have a vga
    card with PS2.0 support...

Do you still experience this issue with latest MPC? If you
do, please test older versions like 6484. Thanks.
