Where does MPC store it's program settings?

      Hmm nm.. I think I found it..

      HKEY CURRENT USER/Software/Gabest/Media Player Classic

      Is it safe to delete that whole registry entry because I think I've messed up some settings and I want to go back to default.. and since there is no default button in the settings I figured deleting all the entries in the registry would do the job and starting MPC up again...

      yep thats the way.

      but if your worried about deleting things from the registry try ERUNT (backs up the registry)

      I'm assuming your using XP, NT or 2k. If not you should use ERU (a microsoft utility that came on the win95 cd but is good for 98 & me)

    • MPC can also store it's settings in an Ini File in it's exe folder. It's what I use to tweak It in my codec pack.
