actually it seems there's some truth to it.. the latest update on the SVN is 12 months ago.. I use an SVN compile which dates May 2006.. since that point of time nothing happened..
Media Player Classic is still up to date.. codecs can be updated as a player it is still modern - I hope that it will get updated anyway in the future - like Vista specific things (EVR and such) - or maybe a 64 bit compile although I do not think this is a too high priority as Vista runs 32 bit apps just fine!

Has development entirely stopped? The newest version (not including translations) is from March 2006.
