I'm unsure why I'm getting this issue. I cannot recall changing anything on my system and the last time I fired up the program it ran fine.

I tried removing removing (purging from ubuntu) and re-installing and I continue to get the same error.

ubuntu 9.04
2.6.28-11-generic
32-bit

(gnotime:31698): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_tree_destroy: assertion `tree != NULL' failed
GTT: GConf: Warning: get /apps/gnotime/LogFile/Filename failed: Using default value
The program 'gnotime' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
(Details: serial 593 error_code 2 request_code 58 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Discussion

  • This may be related to some X Windows System bug. Can you still reproduce this bug? If so, please post the version of the package and version of its dependencies.
