How do I correctly install the HAL callout so that it runs when the ipod is connected? make install installs a copy of ipod-read-sysinfo-extended to /usr/local/bin I've run /usr/local/bin/ipod-read-sysinfo-extended manually, and it has left my SysInfoExtended unchanged except for updating this <data> element... <data>ASsANRVgijxo7/eZjTc4IMQvbjPdC/9+hYpiHlvWlEOntDBUhLZTS1qqNLfkV9Pu h40qR3GMrggACicAHpNInwAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgp8P0tTAsQt2SdFod1T19HPRw kvaSUA==</data> gtkpod still complains "Extended Info will not be used"...
