I had been making changes to the metadata of my music without realising
I needed to turn on the "write to id3 tag" option on to get the changes
to propagate back to the files. Is there anyway to force gtkpod to
retrospectively write the changes back to the files?
It doesn't seem to do so if I export them. Changing a single attribute
on all of the files doesn't seem to force the rest of the fields to
update either. Any other ideas?

I have a question not specifically related to gtkpod, but I want to know if
any one of the user of Linux and iPod has the following problem.
I have a iPod nano (2 G) and running FC5 on my AMD 2200+ machine. If I plug
in my iPod before I start the machine, the respond of the mouse is sluggish.
And dmesg did not report anything strange.
Anyone has similiar experience?
