I'm OK with that drawback for now too :) Just wondered if the developers of both gtkpod and libgpod had any plans in relation to that feature.

Hello Andrei,

I also have a Shuffle with the voice-over feature. As far as I can tell, the current versions of gtkpod do not yet support the voice-over features of these shuffles. Apparently, they depend on a library that would need to implement this feature (I think it's libgpod). Thus, it is less a gtkpod issue, and more a libgpod issue. At present, I have just settled for not having the voice-over, but it would be nice to have that again!

Hello

I started using gtkpod recently and I think it's a good replacement
for iTunes on Linux. It has just one drawback: it doesn't support
VoiceOver that is implemented in my IPOD SHUFFLE.
In the gtkpod questions archive I've found a few posts on the same
issue but didn't find any solutions to the problem so far.
What can be done about it?
