Hi,

Has any development been made towards iPhone 4 support?

From what I understood through this bug entry: http://gtkpod.org/bugs/index.php?do=details&task_id=35, a checksum needs to be generated for these devices.

Is there anyway I can help with this? Any place one can start digging, etc, etc?

Currently what is needed is someone with great reverse engineering skills who could figure out the hashing scheme apple is using on the iPhone. As a stop gap measure, it's possible to workaround this issue on jailbroken phones by editing Checkpoint.xml, see

Hope that helps,

Christophe
