I am using an ipod nano (1st gen, or whatever the term is, model no. a1137), gtkpod version 0.99.14, on Ubuntu Jaunty/9.04, 64 bit.

I get a steady stream of "failed to set cover art" errors on starting gtkpod. Mainly the files in question are podcasts, but the files are not necessarily on the ipod itself, but in the music library. This window I can click "ok" on and the window will close.

When attempting to add files from the music library, I start getting "lyrics not found, file not available" errors for just about every file. This window does not always go away when clicking "ok" or the X in the corner, and will reappear with the same message repeatedly, generally adding more files each time the window appears. Eventually the whole program freezes and has to be killed.

What information can I provide to help identify the problem? Or can I turn off the lyrics feature?
