Wow, I haven't used Rhythmbox in a long time.

Anyway, I downloaded a couple of random mp3's, played them with Rhythmbox and I
no longer see the "skips" problem.

I have Fedora 9 with all updates and the latest release of the free and
non-free gstreamer and a whole bunch of other stuff from rpmfusion. 

I do NOT have the fluendo package.
