Product: GStreamer Version: 0.8.11 Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: Normal Component: don't know AssignedTo: gst...@li... ReportedBy: ken...@gm... QAContact: gst...@li... CC: all...@bu... Please describe the problem: I tried to use gst-launch to play the contents of a music CD. I don't kn= ow exactly what to expect, but it printed the message "Internal GStreamer er= ror: pad problem. File a bug.", so here I am. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a Terminal window 2. Type the command "gst-launch cdplayer device=3D/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 ! sp= ider ! esdsink" 3. (but replace /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 with the device name for your CD-ROM d= rive) Actual results: $ gst-launch cdplayer device=3D/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 ! spider ! esdsink WARNING: erroneous pipeline: could not link cdplayer0 to spider0 Trying to run anyway. RUNNING pipeline ... ERROR: from element /pipeline0/spider0/sink_ident: Internal GStreamer err= or: pad problem. File a bug. Additional debug info: gstpad.c(3377): gst_pad_pull: /pipeline0/spider0/sink_ident: pull on pad sink_ident:sink but it was unlinked Execution ended after 1 iterations (sum 44599000 ns, average 44599000 ns,= min 44599000 ns, max 44599000 ns). Expected results: Either a normal "pipeline didn't want to run" error, or (even better) sta= rt playing the music CD. Does this happen every time? Yes, it's 100% repeatable. Other information: I have a music CD in the drive. When I type this command, the light on t= he drive blinks. I use this drive in other programs regularly. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. You are the QA contact for the bug. |
