Alright people, vote is closed - ending result was 6 to 4 for good-bad-ugly. To celebrate I created gst-plugins-good straight away, and moved the relevant plugins to it. To ease the transition, here's what you should do: "make uninstall" from gst-plugins if you run installed "make clean" from gst-plugins "cvs up" from gst-plugins "make install" if you run installed check out gst-plugins-good build it install it if you want to. The new module already comes with plugin and element docs, a bunch of which still needs to be filled in. I'll add unit testing stuff later.
