I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 and use an hp all-in-one. No problem printing. But can't get it to scan. I'm using the Libsan-perl front end. gscan2pdf recognizes the hp psc 1300 but won't open the device. Error message is "error opening device I/O". I've re-installed HPLIB and reinstalled the printers. Following is the debug report. Any idea what I should do? Ed Spivak, edmspivak@gmail.com
