If unfortunately someone forgets to close a function statement gretl doesn't accept any script/console command any more. The only thing to do is to reboot gretl. Example.

<s>
function pippo(scalar a)

print a

nulldata 100

pippo(10)
</s>

Obviously the nulldata command won't be read.

Cheers

    This is not a bug.

    Close your function with "end function" (either at the
    console or by running a script that says "end function").
    Then you'll get back into normal execution mode.
