Hi, is it possible to upload a screenshot using scp and copy the path to clipboard?. (like in monosnap)
At the moment, i use pscp as a external command.

    Hi Henning,

Can you describe how this should work (not how we implement this), like what do you want have on the clipboard? Better said, how should Greenshot know the path?

You can write in german if this helps!

    Best wishes,
    Robin

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\PuTTY\pscp.exe" -pw password -P 1234 %1 username@myhost.com:/var/www/bilder/monosnap/
    echo http://myhost.de/bilder/monosnap/%~n1%~x1 | clip
    del %1

Aber dennoch vielen Dank. Und wenn es in irgendeiner weise, vielleicht direkt oder als Plugin implementiert werden sollte, wär das natürlich noch einfacher. Aber ich bin fürs erste zufrieden gestellt.

Just so you know, we have something planned for 1.2 but with 1.1 (which should be available as a release candidate this week) there is no ftp etc support.

I would like to have this feature too (SCP/SFTP Upload). It would be nice to configure it via the Addon Configuration. The file is Uploaded via SCP to a directory and the http:// path to that directory is configured in the addon aswell. Greenshot should put $CONFIGURED_HTTP_PATH$/imagename.png into the clipboard after it uploaded the image (Just like ImgGur).

Is Greenshot written in Java oder C#? If it is needed, i can write a SCP Plugin if you want!

  • actually, it should be possible to implement this with a simple bat file which can be called with the external command plugin. Calling pscp shouldn't be a problem, not sure if you can put something into the clipboard, but maybe this possible with another tool.

Greenshot is written in C# and has a rather good plugin system.
