I have windows 8 ultrabook with full HD. I am using FULL external monitor as primary dispaly and extending it t o ultrabook's display. when I press print screen I cannot select whole screen of the ultrabooks display. There appears 5cm height black bar on the bottom of the screen and ~10 cm of the right part of the screen is "disabled"

Seems to be the same problem as reported in [#1604] and [#1631]... Do you have different scaling applied to the two displays?

Unfortunately, I still haven't found a way to reproduce this - my system is reluctant to let me choose different scaling per display, no matter what I do.

    Workarounds for now:

    • use fullscreen capture first, the crop to desired size in editor
    • change display settings to use the same scaling

Hope this helps for now, best regards,
    Jens

I have been able to reproduct this issue, and also found some information on a possible fix. The Windows 8.1 update caused this behavior.

    Expect a fix soon...

    Best wishes,
    Robin
