Hello gourmet-interested developers &c.,
I am thinking the time has come (or has passed) to move the 0.11
branch of code from "unstable" to "stable" and encourage mass
adoption. Of course, doing this implies that I am certain upgrade
works properly, which I am only sort-of certain of.
So, my plan is to spend a bit of time cleaning up remaining bug
reports that apply to the 0.11 series. Then I thought I'd make the
leap. Thereafter, I'm thinking it's worth getting rid of the
unstable/stable contrast -- for an open-source project with one real
part-time developer (me), it doesn't make sense to maintain two
branches of code -- I just don't have time to get to bugfixes on old
branches and I think in the end it's probably creating more user
frustration than it's saving.
So this is my message to ask two things:
1. If you have bug reports, especially relating to upgrade from old
versions, please submit them!
2. If you think I'm overlooking something, please tell me!
