http://grecipe-manager.sourceforge.net/installation_instructions.html#WDeveloper mentions freezing a Gourmet executable for distribution on Windows with py2exe, however in de `windows' directory of Gourmet some scripts which seem to use http://www.python.net/crew/atuining/cx_Freeze/ instead. Which is currently the preferred method?

So far cx_Freeze seems to yield the best results - i did have to add 'cairo, cairopango' to the --include-modules list.

HTML importing plugins are read from the filesystem at run-time (importers/html_plugins/__init__.py). As such, they are not included in the Frozen package, and must be installed seperately (for example in the users ~/.gourmet/html_plugins).

This is cumbersome, but also nice because that way new (seperately distributed) importers can be added to existing installations. Not sure how often that would actually happen though :).
