Hello,

gm convert prints the following message:

gm convert -
profile "AdobeRGB1998.icc" ConvertedTest.jpg ConvertedTestWithProfile.jpg
gm convert: No decode delegate for this image format (AdobeRGB1998.icc).

What do I do wrong?

You did not specify what version of GraphicsMagick you are using. I am not able to reproduce this failure message with recent GraphicsMagick (1.1.10 or development 1.2), but there is indeed a problem with your command line. It is necessary to use the -profile option *after* a file has been read so that it has something to operate on. Arguments are processed from left to right. So use

    gm convert ConvertedTest.jpg -profile AdobeRGB1998.icc ConvertedTestWithProfile.jpg

    instead.

the version I use is GraphicsMagick-1.1.7-Q16.

It creates ConvertedTestWithProfile.jpg now (with the -profile option after the first file) but
shows the same error message and does not embed the profile:

    gm convert ConvertedTest.jpg -profile "AdobeRGB1998.icc" ConvertedTestWithProfile.jpg
gm convert: No decode delegate for this image format (AdobeRGB1998.icc).

  • It seems that this is user error or an old bug since it works with modern GraphicsMagick.
