We had similar issues with other locales, details are here: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=3D11314098 http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=3D10482895 In short, you need to modify your /usr/lib/python2.3/locale.py file by adding the following lines to "locale_alias" dict: =20 locale_alias =3D {.... ....... "sv_fi": "sv_FI.ISO8859-1", .... .... } =20 The "....." represent already existing entries and should not be entered. The order of the lines does not matter, may as well add to the bottom of the dictionary. =20 Let me know if this works for you, Alex P.S. If this fix works, you will be able to generate reports. However, I'm not sure whether you're seeing translated strings in your interface. I'm also not familiar with sv_FI locale. Is it Swedish as spoken in Finland? In any case, if this is different from Swedish and from Finnish and you would like to translate gramps into sv_FI, please let me know, it's not that hard. --=20 Alexander Roitman http://ebner.neuroscience.umn.edu/people/alex.html Dept. of Neuroscience, Lions Research Building 2001 6th Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455 Tel (612) 625-7566 FAX (612) 626-9201 |
