It was not clear (to me) wheater it will be file or a directory. Now I know it is a file. But he, I got gramps started and that was after the system was switch off and (much later) on again.... > 1. Did you run 'make install' for gramps as root? Difficult question to answer. I built gramps immediately as an rpm ;) as a regular user. After the rpmbuild finished, I installed the rpm as root of course ;) As you know I killed gconf, but perhaps not at the right moment....
