An interesting feature that was present in the previous version of Gramps was the synchronization between the active person and the current selected person in the People List, which I used to find extremely helpful. In the past (verion 3.2), if I changed the active person (e.g. navigating in the Relationship view), automatically the People list would show the active person. In the current version (4.1.1) I am using, which came after I updated Debian to the newest stable version, this is not happening. If I change the active person in the relationship view, the person view doesn't display it (although in the bottom part updates the active person as well as in the status bar). I couldn't find an option in the Preferences to enable this feature; maybe there is a way to do that but I could not figure out. I am using Gramps 4.1.1, running under Linux Debian Jessie, XFCE4 environment. Thanks for your attention, --Serge Belfry |
