GedcomX is very much a work in progress, and if she has constructive criticism (rather than her usual nit-picking) she should open issues at https://github.com/FamilySearch/gedcomx instead of throwing rocks from afar. The only correction I have is that (I believe) "Tamura" is a man living in Leiden, in the Dutch province of South Holland. Although I have never met him. > In any case, I entirely agree that we should not constrain our design of Gramps by any interchange format, nor by the strictures of relational design. We actually don't stray too far from GEDCOM in most places, being careful to create structures that can be represented in GEDCOM, if possible. But as soon as there is a generally agreed upon replacement, then we can use that as our primary constraint, and hopefully it can be extended. -Doug > Regards, > John Ralls > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Live Security Virtual Conference > Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and > threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
