Thanks Doug for information. I updated "Tags in Gramps" -wiki page after playing a little with tags.
Implementing of tags with places seems to be unimplemented, even an example of using place tag is given in the wiki page. Also tagging events sounds useful to my mind.
(1) Coloring a row (object) in the view works, but the color is set by the alphabetically first tag of the object! In case a object is multi tagged, color is a little misleading but you can add always add optional Tags column to view.
(3) Multi deleting is parallel to multi adding tag to selected objects and should also be function in Organize Tags dialog?
I'm used to tags in my other genealogical software, so I'm prone to make a Gramps Feature Request covering tagging of places+events and multi deleting. What do you other think about this topic?

Gramps v4.1 will allow the tagging of all primary objects.
Feel free to create a feature request for deleting multiple tags.
