Would having one be a good idea? Is it easy to make one -- or hard? (I glanced at the SourceForge site but didn't see anything like a Makefile or even a list of this-is-how-to-do-it. Nor did the tree structure strike me (in my ignorance and innocence) as inviting a "11.10" fork, or something.) I was going to recommend it to a bug reporter until I discovered it didn't exist. (So it's not a big deal to me.) Thanks. |

You should add a dir 11.10 to http://gramps-cd.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/gramps-cd/ubuntu/ by first copying the 10.10. Put new .deb in the new directory as needed over the 11.10 version, and update the mklingcd script Main problem will probably be the change from gnome 2.x to 3.x, so putting icons and such clearly on the desktop will have changed... I also don't find quick updates on how to customize 11.10, last I see is 11.4: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDCustomization Benny 2012/1/3 Paul Franklin <pf....@gm...>: > Would having one be a good idea? > > Is it easy to make one -- or hard? > > (I glanced at the SourceForge site but didn't > see anything like a Makefile or even a list of > this-is-how-to-do-it.
