HI all, Sorry for late posting. Yes, you may use the prepared installer provided by Alberto Ruiz of pygtk. Its available on the pygtk.org site. Thats an option though. But then I believe its really possible to only use dlls and pyds and packaged that without requiring the installation of python, gtk and other software. Please check this site then, - http://grampsw32-package.kadjo.net/. Please download and test the file Gramps226-Win32.exe. This is just for testing purposes. I've patterned the NSI code of Steve (digitech). Though there is are still obvious bugs on the program but this is just a way of saying its possible. Please test the program...I'll be posting sooner the nsi code and the howto's of doing this. I have a problem also with the reportlab. Thank you all. Unfortunately, Windows is not a world of software cooperation, so systems like "apt" or "yum", which are common in the linux world, do not exist. This leaves Windows users stuck with installing multiple packages on their own, because dependency resolvers and software repositories do not exist. Having a graphical installer built into every package instead of a single graphical installer that can manage multiple packages and all their dependencies makes the Windows way of installing software a bit more clumsy.
