We are now moving into a preparation phase for the Release=20
Candidate of 1.0.0 version.=20
The current template.po is in CVS. The translatable strings should be=20
considered frozen at this point. Any change to translatable strings is
*strongly* deprecated and can only occur if=20
(1) it is causing a grave bug (crashing, failure of any kind, data loss)=
(2) the consensus of gramps-devel list is reached.
The string translations are due a week from today, that is the night
of Monday, Jan 26, CST (=3D GTM - 6 hours). Translators with CVS=20
access -- check your po files into CVS as usual. Translators without
the access -- email your po files to Don or myself.
The plan is to release 1.0.0-RC1 on Tuesday, Jan 27.
The manual translation can continue after the RC is released, so it's=20
OK to have incomplete manual translations by RC time. Let's focus
on the strings and testing.
The manual translations should be finished within the first week=20
of February. With some luck, we should be able to release 1.0.0
no later than Sunday, Feb 8.
Let me know if you have questions.
