I use 3.0.0 myself, but nevertheless, I don't know if it is a good idea to push out 3.0.1 over 2.2.10 as a regular update.

A user not in the know of 3.0.1 will have a very big surprise starting GRAMPS after the update. He also had no way of knowing he would have been best by exporting all his data as .gramps/.gpkg in 2.2.10 before doing the upgrade.
