Note that there is a known crash with gtkspell in new ubuntu, and possibly new fedora too (same gtkspell).

Might this be related?

Dear Benny:

I am using Fedora 8 Test 2...I know that it is in testing phase rihght
now, but I have never had problems like this with the other test
releases!  I have been using gramps since 2.0.8 and using Fedora test
since F edora 4.  I have never had these kind of problems before.
Yes, after each svn update, I am running autogen.sh and make and then
python src/gramps.py as we were told to do so...
The only reason that I have taken so long to get back to you is because
I was trying to find where the dump file is...?  Bug reporting tool pops
up, but it is not ready yet, so it won't show me anything.
I am not sure if it will help or not, but what about the config.log
file?  Would it give you any helpful information!!!

Sincerely,
Rob G. Healey
