Opening a pre-existing database from the pull-down list in the toolbar.

The last time I was using the db, when I closed it I got an error which I did not submit. The error detail said an attempt to copy or rename a file (I forget which) failed as there was already a file of that name. I am pretty sure I re-opened the db at that time to check I could still use it but I did not make any changes.
