database is open?

Currently, it won't let you.  But is it *possible*?

We don't configure the database for multiuser access. So if open in another process, you really should not open it. This is a setting we could change, but that then should require quite a bit of testing. And things like deadlock will start to occur and must be programmed for. We would also need to avoid batch tools, as those tools perform tricks with database index tables to speed up the batch operation, but in a multi-user setting this should be forbidden.


If adults of legally sound mind must be told what foods they
are not allowed to buy, then those people are not competent
to choose (i.e. vote for) their own leaders.
