I checked my computer for all of the dlls in the gramps folder and subfolders and they are not present anywhere else on my hard drive.

Did you try second one. Search for duplicated  dlls in system folder and
removing them. If they exist gramps will pickup them instead of their
own and despite same name they can be of different version and
incompatible. Maybe they are already load in memory.
