The programs dos2unix & unix2dos are made for this kind of problem.  In Debian derived distros, they are both in the package dos2unix.

Hi,
I'm porting under Windows a tool I created under Linux.

For testing purpose, I used a gedcom file created by a linux gramps export (utf8 and LF)
I had some troubles about treating this gedtool file with my tool under Windows, due to the line ending. My windows version tool can't directly handle LF, only CR-LF.
So, I want to know if gedcom files issued from an export of Windows Gramps are LF or CR-LF.
What are the choiced solutions when importing and exporting gedcom file from and to  Gramps ?
