It should be fixed now.

If methods became private, we are forced to stop using them I suppose...
Does this have a big impact?

GExiv2 after version 0.5.0 from Oct-2012 (current is 0.7.0) get some
cleanings and lot of functions is now marked private and not
introspected any more.

For example EXIF functions:
gexiv2_metadata_has_exif_tag
gexiv2_metadata_clear_exif_tag
gexiv2_metadata_get_exif_tag_string
gexiv2_metadata_set_exif_tag_string
gexiv2_metadata_get_exif_tag_interpreted_string
gexiv2_metadata_get_exif_tag_long
gexiv2_metadata_set_exif_tag_long
gexiv2_metadata_get_exif_tag_label
gexiv2_metadata_get_exif_tag_description
gexiv2_metadata_get_exif_tag_type

Gramps still use them in libmetadata.py see:
http://www.gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=7182
Is it O.K. that we stop using them also?

GExiv2 is tricky to check for release version as gir in it only have ABI
version and that is stil at 0.4 (gi support is started in that version)
